The full name of RVV wire is copper core PVC insulated PVC sheathed flexible wire, also known as light PVC sheathed cord, commonly known as soft sheathed wire, which is a kind of sheathed wire. The rated voltage is 300V/500V, the number of cores ranges from 2 to 24 according to the national standard. Two or more cores are twisted into a cable, and the outer layer is twisted to the right. Mainly used in power lines, control lines and signal transmission lines for electrical appliances, meters, electronic equipment, and automation devices. Specifically, it can be used in anti-theft alarm systems, building intercom systems, etc.

Inspection requirements:
RVV refers to the multi-strand copper core flexible wire, the logo on the external line, the comparable thickness of the skin layer and the core. The skin layer is generally a polychloride material. The copper core is 19 strands. The specifications are generally 1, 1.5, 2.5 square millimeters .Look at the length of the line (a circle is 100 meters), the national standard line is 95-100 meters, and the non-standard line is about 90 meters.

Key points for indoor laying of flame-retardant control cables:
1. Non-armoured cables should be laid indoors. When laying horizontally, the distance between the cable and the ground should not be less than 2.5m. When laying straight, the distance between the cable and the ground should not be less than 1.8m. When the above requirements cannot be met, measures should be taken to avoid mechanical damage to the cables; when exposed to special rooms such as power distribution rooms, motor rooms, equipment floors, etc., this restriction is not imposed.
2. When cables with the same voltage are laid in parallel, the cable net distance shall not be less than 35mm, and not less than the outer diameter of the cable; it is not subject to this restriction when laying in bridges, bridges, and trunking. Power cables and control cables of 1kV and below should be laid separately from power cables of 1kV and above. When used side by side, the clear distance should not be less than 150mm.
3. The clear distance between the overhead bare cable and the heat pipe is not less than 1m; when the clear distance is less than or equal to 1m, heat preservation measures should be taken. The net distance to the non-thermal pipeline should not be less than 0.5m. When the clear distance is less than or equal to 0.5m, measures should be taken to avoid mechanical damage to the cable section close to the pipeline and the cable section extending 0.5m from both ends of the section.
