Duplex Service Drop Cable

Applications:
Primarily used as an overhead or aerial cable for 120 volt overhead service applications such as street lighting, outdoor lighting and temporary building services. For use with phase voltages of 600 volts or less and conductor temperatures not exceeding 75°C (for polyethylene insulated conductors) or 90°C (for cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors).
Specifications:
Duplex service drop cable meets or exceeds the following ASTM specifications:
B-230 Aluminum wire, 1350-H19 For electrical use.
B-231 Aluminum conductor, concentrically stranded.
B-232 Aluminum conductor, concentrically stranded, coated steel reinforced (ACSR).
B-399 Concentrically stranded 6201-T81 aluminum conductor.
B-901 Compressed round stranded aluminum conductor, using single input wire.
Duplex service drop cables meet or exceed all applicable requirements of ANSI/ICEA S-76-474.
Construction:
Aluminum conductors are concentrically stranded, compressed 1350-H19 aluminum. Insulated with polyethylene or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
Neutral messengers are concentric stranded 6201, AAC, or ACSR.



Triplex Service Drop Cable

Applications:
Used as an overhead cable, usually from a pole-mounted transformer to the customer's service head, where it is connected to the service entrance cable. For use with phase voltages of 600 volts or less and conductor temperatures not exceeding 75°C (for polyethylene insulated conductors) or 90°C (for cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors).
Specifications:
Triplex service drop cables meet or exceed the following ASTM specifications.
B-230 Aluminum wire, 1350-H19 For electrical service.
B-231 Aluminum conductor, concentrically stranded.
B-232 Aluminum conductor, concentrically stranded, coated steel reinforced (ACSR).
B-399 Stranded 6201-T81 Aluminum conductor.
B-901 Compressed round stranded aluminum conductor using a single input wire.

Used as an overhead cable, typically to provide three-phase power from a pole-mounted transformer to the customer's service end, where it is connected to the service entrance cable. For use with phase voltages of 600 volts or less and conductor temperatures not exceeding 75°C (for polyethylene insulated conductors) or 90°C (for cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors).
Specifications:
Quadruplex service drop cables meet or exceed the following ASTM specifications.
B-230 Aluminum wire, 1350-H19 For electrical service.
B-231 Aluminum conductor, concentrically stranded.
B-232 Aluminum conductor, concentrically stranded, coated steel reinforced (ACSR).
B-399 Concentrically stranded, 6201-T81 Aluminum conductor.
B-901 Compressed round stranded aluminum conductor, using single input wire.
Quadruplex service drop cables meet or exceed all applicable requirements of ICEA S-76-474.
Construction:
The aluminum conductor of this insulated cable is concentrically stranded compressed 1350-H19 aluminum. Insulated with polyethylene or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). Neutral messengers are concentrically stranded 6201, AAC, or ACSR. conductors are manufactured with ridges for phase identification (one conductor with one ridge, one conductor with two ridges, and one conductor with a flat surface.)
