Product Description:
Aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) refers to a reinforced conductor in which single-layer or multi-layer aluminum strands are twisted outside the galvanized steel core. Mainly used in the power and transmission line industries.

Structure:
Steel core aluminum stranded wire is formed by twisting aluminum wire and steel wire, which is suitable for overhead transmission lines.
It has a steel "core" inside, and the outside is wrapped around the steel core with aluminum wire by twisting; the steel core mainly serves to increase the strength, and the aluminum stranded wire mainly serves to transmit electric energy.

Model:
The models of ACSR are divided into: JL/G1A JL/G1B JL/G2A JL/G2B JL/G3A
Among them: G1A or G1B refers to ordinary strength steel wire.
G2A or G2B refers to high-strength steel wire.
G3A refers to ultra-high-strength steel wire.
Model difference: Take JL/G1A-240/30 steel core aluminum stranded wire as an example.
It is expressed as JL/G1A-240/30 in the national standard (GB/T1179-2008);
It is expressed as LGJ-240/30 in the national standard (GB/T1179-1983).

Application:
For high-voltage transmission lines, due to the limited path of the line, it is impossible to build multiple lines on one path. People came up with one path, a set of iron towers, and multiple wires. That is, one line is equivalent to multiple lines. Line method: For 500KV transmission lines, four conductors are mostly used in China. This method of wiring is called parallel tower construction.

Advantage:
The ACSR has simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low line cost, large transmission capacity, and is conducive to the laying of special geographical conditions such as crossing rivers and valleys. It has good electrical conductivity and sufficient mechanical strength and high tensile strength. , The distance of the tower pole can be enlarged and so on. Therefore, it is widely used in overhead transmission and distribution lines of various voltage levels.
